Yamori Naturals is a Toronto-based skincare company that sources it’s all natural products straight from Shea Beauty Company Limited (Uganda), a company that works very closely with Ugandan women’s groups in the extraction of the all-natural Shea butter it uses. The company buys the nuts from the women and pays them again to extract Shea oil using cold presses that they own. Shea butter contains many natural moisturizers similar to moisturizers produced naturally by glands in the skin. Due to a variety of conditions, however, the natural moisturizers produced by the skin may not suffice which is why many people suffer from dry skin conditions.

Shea nut trees are very slow maturing and will not yield fruit until after roughly 20 – 25 years. According to the American Shea Institute, perhaps the most well known authority on Shea butter, butters and oils range from grade A to grade F depending on their manner of preparation. A is the premium Quality grade and it is this grade which Shea Beauty Company Limited uses to manufacture its products.
